Amina Sheikh Career
She started her career as an assistant at a multi-media company, Curious Pictures. However, her showbiz career started as a fashion model in the Pakistani showbiz industry. But she earns international popularity after her work as the spokesperson of L’Oreal. She also made her acting debut as a leading actress in a telefilm named “Baarish Mein Deewar” in 2008 for the first time. This was the socio-political comic telefilm, starring Mohib Mirza. After her popularity as “Baarish Mein Deewar, in the same year, she was also portrayed in “Aasmaan Chu La”. In this film, she plays the role of a rickshaw driver who earned money to support her family. This film was produced by Syed Ali Reza.
Following the years, Amina also appeared in another romantic drama “Daam” which starred Sanam Bloch and Adeel Hussain in 2010 and aired on ARY Digital. This drama telefilm tells the story of two closest friends of a different classes. Amina played the role of a girl who belonged to an upper-class family whereas Sanam Baloch belonged to a lower-class family. After that Amina portrayed back-to back-in many romantic dramas on television. She also appeared in the award-winning remake drama serial of the same name, “Armaan” which starred Fawad Khan in 2013.
