Who is Najiba Faiz?

Najiba Faiz is well known Pakistani television host, television, and film actress. She was born on August 1, 1988, in Kunduz, Afghanistan. Najiba made her acting debut with the Pashto drama “Dil Ruba” which aired on PTV. In her debut drama, she played the lead role. She got a positive response for her fine acting skills. And earned a massive fan following because of her charming personality.

In 2006 Najiba appeared for the first time in Urdu Drama. The said drama was “Sannata”. Which featured Saba Qamar, Danish Taimoor, and Sajal Ali in lead roles.

She has played the character of Gulalai in the award-winning serial Sang-e-Mar Mar, the character of Rukhshanda in Mohabbat Khawab Safar, and the character of Neelum in Sangsar. She has also starred in the second trilogy of the Sang-e-Mar Mar series called Sang-e-Mah.

Faiz started her career by working on a children’s program “Story” which aired on PTV. In 2002, she started her acting with “Rogh Lewani”, a Pashto serial in which she played secretary to Ismail Shahid ( Maanay). The role put her on the map and she achieved instant fame among people.

However, she disappeared from the screen for some time. It was until after the launch of the maiden Pashto channel, AVT, in 2004, that she made her return to showbiz. Since then, she has acted in several plays including, Sang-e-Mar Mar is famous, which aired on Hum TV.

She worked in other two dramas, Mohabbat Khawab Safar and Sangsar which also aired on Hum TV. She has also hosted the show on the ATV Khyber TV channel.

Also, she is a big fan of the Pakistan super league She also came to the match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi which went viral on social media as she stole the show crying.
