In 2011 Omer started his career as a model. He gave an audition for Bridal Counter Week. And got selected by Vaneeza Ahmed. According to Omer in his interview in a leading daily, he was one of the eight male models who were selected among 200 boys and girls in the audition.
His first appearance grabs the attention of many designers. And he became blue eye boy of every designer. After that, he walked the ramp for all the top designers including HSY, Deepak Parwani, Fahad Husyan, Zainab Chottani, Sania, Zaheer Abbas and others.
