Sonya Rizvi, popularly known as Sonya Jehan- Was born on 24th April 1980, commanding from Karachi, Pakistan. She is the granddaughter of the famed late singer Noor Jehan and Shaukat Hussain Rizvi. While she is the wife of an Indian resident Vivek Narain, who is a Banker. Sonya Jehan is an actress who has acted in the Pakistan film industry and also worked in the Bollywood film industry. Also, she has launched a French Restaurant “Café Flo” in Karachi. She grew up in Lahore with her parents and siblings. Her mother’s name is Florence Rizvi and her father’s name is Akbar Hussain Rizvi. While she has a brother named Sikandar Rizvi who is also an actor. It appears her family has a strong association with film and music background as her grandfather Shaukat Hussain was a producer. Jehan played the role of Mumtaz Mahal, who is betrayed by the film’s central character. The film received mixed reviews from critics, and was moderately victorious at the box office; however, Jehan’s performance was glorified by film critics.

Jehan next emerged as religious American Muslim professor Haseena, in the social drama My Name Is Khan, her first collaboration with Karan Johar. The film set in America received positive feedback from analysts and her performance was praised in particular. The film was the most costly Bollywood film of 2010 and also the highest-value buy over for any Indian film, exceeding the previous record of INR900 million (US$14 million) and was declared the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2010.

Sonya Jehan has accomplished her O’levels and A’ levels. Later she got a degree in Design from the reputed Central St.Martins College of Art and Design. After completing her studies, she then decided to build a career in the field of acting. So, she worked in the Hollywood, Bollywood, and Pakistan film industries. She has earned tremendous love from lovers and also received a huge honor from everyone. Sonya Jehan made her Bollywood debut with the movie “Taj Mahal” which was a historical ideological movie in which she worked alongside Kabir Bedi and she played the role of Mumtaz.
